Policies

Appointment Reservations

Appointments at Bare Skin & Wax are reserved specifically for you. A valid credit card and/or deposit is required to secure all appointments.

Because dedicated treatment time, medical resources, and provider availability are reserved for each patient, we kindly ask that you review our policies prior to booking.

By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies and authorize Bare Skin & Wax to charge the credit card on file for any applicable cancellation fees, missed appointment fees, or policy violations in accordance with these policies.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments canceled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the following charges:

Medical Aesthetic Services

(Injectables, laser treatments, microneedling, medical-grade facials, chemical peels)

• The deposit associated with the scheduled service will be forfeited.

Spa Services

(Waxing, brow services, lash lifts, and lamination services)

• The full service fee will be charged for appointments canceled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice.

These policies allow us to respect our providers’ time and accommodate other patients who may be waiting for appointments.

Deposits

Deposits are applied toward the cost of your treatment at the time of service.

Deposits are non-refundable and will be forfeited if:

• the appointment is canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours
• the patient does not show for the appointment
• the patient arrives too late to safely perform the scheduled treatment

If an appointment must be rescheduled due to violation of the late arrival policy, a new deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.

Late Arrival Policy

We understand that delays can happen and will always do our best to accommodate you.

However, in order to maintain the schedule for all patients:

Medical aesthetic treatments: 15-minute grace period
Waxing, brow, lamination, and lash services: 5-minute grace period

If you arrive beyond the grace period and we are unable to safely complete your treatment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the applicable cancellation policy will apply.

Medical Eligibility & Treatment Readiness

For patient safety, certain medical conditions, medications, or recent treatments may prevent us from safely performing a scheduled procedure.

Clients are responsible for reviewing all pre-treatment instructions and contraindications provided prior to their appointment.

If a client arrives for their appointment and treatment cannot be safely performed due to undisclosed medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, recent treatments, sun exposure, active infections, or failure to follow pre-treatment instructions, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

In these cases, the applicable cancellation policy will apply and deposits may be forfeited.

Our providers prioritize patient safety above all else and reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment when medically necessary.

Service Changes

Service changes requested within 24 hours of your appointment must be of equal or greater value, as treatment time has already been reserved specifically for you.

Repeated Cancellations or No-Shows

Clients with repeated late cancellations or no-shows may be required to prepay in full for future appointments.

Prepaid appointments are non-refundable if cancellation policies are violated.

Bare Skin & Wax reserves the right to limit or decline future bookings for clients who repeatedly violate scheduling policies.

Refund Policy

Bare Skin & Wax does not offer refunds on services rendered.

Aesthetic outcomes vary based on individual anatomy, skin condition, lifestyle factors, and adherence to post-treatment care instructions. While we always strive to achieve the desired outcome, results cannot be guaranteed.

Additional treatments may be required to achieve optimal results, and the cost of those treatments is the responsibility of the client.

Consultation Policy

Consultation fees may be applied toward treatment when performed the same day or within 30 days of the consultation.

Retail Products

Retail products are non-refundable.

Defective products may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase for the same item only. Products must be unused and in original packaging.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value.

Updated Information

All patients must have current credit card information and completed medical history forms on file prior to treatment.

Failure to complete required medical documentation prior to the appointment may result in rescheduling and the applicable cancellation policy will apply.

Extra Guests & Children

To maintain a safe, calm, and professional environment, extra guests and children are not permitted in treatment rooms or waiting areas.

Arriving with children will result in cancellation of the appointment and application of the cancellation policy.

Our facility is not designed for children, and unsupervised movement around medical equipment presents a safety risk.

Our Commitment to You

At Bare Skin & Wax, we value your time as much as our own. These policies allow us to provide uninterrupted care, protect provider availability, and deliver the highest standard of treatment to every patient.

By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
