Zona founded Bare Skin & Wax in 2021 in Trumbull, Connecticut during a time when starting a business felt uncertain for many. What began as a leap of faith quickly became a thriving destination for expertly executed waxing, brow shaping, and beauty services. With a deep passion for artistry, precision, and client experience, Zona built Bare Skin & Wax on trust, consistency, and results, serving some of Fairfield County’s most discerning clients and cultivating a loyal following along the way.

As the business continued to grow, the vision naturally expanded.

Rilinda joined the practice, bringing with her over 20 years of healthcare experience and a strong clinical foundation as a Registered Nurse. With a background spanning emergency medicine, critical care, and healthcare leadership, Rilinda introduced medical aesthetics to the practice, adding a science-driven, safety-first approach to advanced treatments. Her expertise allows Bare Skin & Wax to seamlessly bridge aesthetics and medicine, offering thoughtful, evidence-based care with natural, balanced results.

To support the highest standards of care, Bare Skin & Wax Med Spa is physician-led under the direction of Seth Clohosey, MD our Medical Director and an experienced aesthetic provider and injector. His active involvement in patient care ensures treatments are guided by advanced medical expertise, evidence-based protocols, and a shared commitment to safe, natural, and balanced results.
